33 Palestinians Killed in Gaza on Second Day of Eid
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli strikes killed at least 33 Palestinians and wounded over 40 others in the Gaza Strip on Saturday, the second day of Eid al-Adha, according to Palestinian sources.
Twelve people, including four from the same family, were killed when Israeli shelling hit tents housing displaced civilians west of Khan Younis in southern Gaza. Over 40 others were injured in the same attack.
Seven Palestinians died in an Israeli airstrike that struck a house sheltering displaced families west of Gaza City.
Two more were killed by Israeli artillery in the Al-Saftawi neighborhood in northern Gaza.
Another airstrike on a civilian gathering in the Abu Shrekh area, west of Jabalia refugee camp, killed three people.
A separate strike near the Al-Mujayda station in the same region killed three Palestinians, including a child.
Israeli forces also shot and killed six Palestinians near an aid distribution point west of Rafah. Several others were injured.
According to a tally by Anadolu based on Palestinian sources, 115 Palestinians have been killed and over 580 wounded by Israeli fire while attempting to access humanitarian aid since May 27. Nine people remain missing.
On Friday, 33 Palestinians were also killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza on the first day of Eid al-Adha.
This marks the fourth Eid (second Eid al-Adha) in Gaza since Israel launched its brutal war, which has killed nearly 54,700 Palestinians, created famine conditions, and devastated the enclave.
