Iran’s Top Diplomat to Visit Egypt, Lebanon
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi is going to visit Egypt and Lebanon for talks on bilateral and regional issues, a spokesman said.
Spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry Esmaeil Baqaei announced on Saturday that arrangements have been made for Foreign Minister Araqchi to travel to Egypt and Lebanon.
The Iranian foreign minister is scheduled to visit Egypt and Lebanon on Monday and Tuesday, Baqaei noted.
Reaffirming Iran’s commitment to strengthening relations and coordination with the regional countries, the spokesman said Araqchi’s trips to Egypt and Lebanon are aimed at discussing the bilateral relations, consulting on the latest regional developments, particularly the situation in the occupied Palestine, and holding talks on the international developments.
During the visits, Araqchi is planned to meet with senior officials of the two countries to discuss a range of issues related to the bilateral ties and regional matters, he stated.
