Man Arrested After Car Collides with Pedestrians in Britain
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A man has been arrested after a car collided with a number of pedestrians in Leicester in central England, police said on Saturday.
The 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and causing serious injury by dangerous driving, Xinhua reported.
Two men and two women were injured following the incident shortly after 12:30 a.m. (2330 GMT), reportedly after a fight at the same location, police said. Three of those hurt are in hospital with serious injuries.
The man remains in police custody while the investigation is ongoing.
