Court Dismisses Detention Warrant for Yoon over Martial Law Case: Special Counsel

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A Seoul court on Wednesday dismissed a request to issue a detention warrant for former President Yoon Suk Yeol in connection with his declaration of martial law last year, the special counsel said.

The Seoul Central District Court rejected the special counsel's request, which was made on Tuesday as part of an investigation into Yoon's alleged obstruction of official duties and other charges related to the short-lived martial law imposition, Yonhap news agency reported.

Upon the court decision, it notified Yoon and his legal team to appear at 9 a.m. Saturday, officials said.
