Persepolis Parts Ways with Vahid Amiri

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Persepolis football club parted ways with its captain Vahid Amiri.

Amiri, who joined Persepolis from Naft Tehran in 2016, was one of the team’s most popular players.

The 37-year-old midfielder has been linked with a move to Kheybar.

He missed a significant part of the 2024-25 Iran Professional League (IPL) season due to injury.

Persepolis finished the season in third place.
