TEHRAN (Tasnim) – President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian will be paying an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman next week.

The deputy chief of staff of the president’s office for political affairs announced on Wednesday that Pezeshkian will pay an official visit to Muscat on May 27 and 28 at the invitation of Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq.

He said the documents include a preferential trade agreement, two deals on supports for mutual investment and cooperation in the customs affairs, as well as a road map to bilateral relations.

The president is also planned to attend a trade conference and a meeting with the Iranian expatriates in Oman, the officials stated.

“The trust between the two countries is exemplary,” Sanaei added.
