Date for New Round of US Talks Not Approved by Iran Yet

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran has not still approved of a date that has been proposed for the next round of indirect negotiations with the US, the Iranian foreign minister said.

In comments on the sidelines of a meeting with Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei in Tehran on Tuesday, Abbas Araqchi said a date has been suggested for the fifth round of the nuclear negotiations, but Iran has not approved it yet.

Kidding the IRIB correspondent about the time and venue of the next round of Iran-US talks, the foreign minister said a brawl is underway for now.

Iran and the US have held four rounds of talks since April 12, mediated by Oman, with the purpose of reaching a deal on Iran’s nuclear program and the removal of sanctions on Tehran.
