Hub of Diplomacy Shaped in Tehran: Araqchi

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araqchi said the two-day Dialogue Forum in Tehran turned the Iranian capital into the beating heart of regional concord and a hub of diplomacy.

“The 2025 Tehran Dialogue Forum was a powerful display of mutual understanding, attentive listening, and authentic dialogue. It turned Tehran into the beating heart of regional concord and a hub of diplomacy shaped by a markedly different atmosphere,” Araqchi said in a post on his X account on Tuesday.

“I could not be prouder of my colleagues at the Institute for Political and International Studies (IPIS), and more grateful to the distinguished guests whose presence and engagement made TDF2025 a truly remarkable success,” the foreign minister added.

The two-day forum was held at the Institute for Political and International Studies of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

The event convened 200 delegations, including high-ranking officials from 53 countries, ministers and decision-makers from the Persian Gulf region, as well as representatives of the United Nations.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and the foreign minister also took part in the event.

The forum included 40 expert panels and live meetings covered by 50 foreign media outlets.
