IRGC to Unveil Major Defense Achievement
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps said an outstanding achievement in the defense industry will be unveiled soon.
Addressing an even, held in commemoration of late Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi in Tehran on Thursday, IRGC Commander Major General Hossein Salami highlighted Iran’s progress in the military industries.
“We have attained an outstanding achievement in the defense technology field in the recent weeks, which will be unveiled in the near future,” the general stated.
He noted that the “balance of power” has changed in favor of Iran.
Highlighting Iran’s progress in various sectors, the commander said, “Today, Iran is standing more strongly than ever. The US must accept the realities on the ground.”
The IRGC chief further lashed out at US President Donald Trump for his comments against Iran, saying the US president, who has launched a massive psychological operation against the Iranian nation, is considered by the Iranian people as the murderer of popular commander Lt. General Qassem Soleimani and cannot pretend to be a friend of Iran.
In remarks on Wednesday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian slammed his American counterpart’s anti-Iran remarks, saying threats will not undermine the resolve of the Iranian nation.
He criticized the US President's comments, stating that Trump made remarks that reveal his profound misunderstanding of the Iranian people, because he fails to recognize the Iranians’ honor, bravery, patience, and sacrifices.
