Persepolis to Host Al Gharafa in Dubai’s Al Maktoum Stadium
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Persepolis football team will host Al Gharafa of Qatar in Dubai’s Al Maktoum Stadium at the 2024-25 AFC Champions League Elite.
The match was originally scheduled for November 4 in Tehran’s Shahr-e Qods Stadium but will be held at the Al Maktoum Stadium.
Persepolis will need to defeat the Qatari team on Matchweek 4. The Reds have suffered two losses and one draw in their previous matches.
Also, Iran’s Sepahan will play Emirati football club Sharjah at the Abdullah bin Khalifa Stadium in Doha in Group C of the 2024-25 AFC Champions League.
Tractor will also meet Tajikistan’s Ravshan Kulob at the Thani bin Jassim Stadium in Group A of the 2024-25 AFC Champions League.
