Japan Beats Iran in Asian Junior Handball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against Japan 31-29 in the 18th edition of Asian Men Junior Handball Championship in Group 2 on Sunday night.
Iran is scheduled to play Kuwait on Wednesday for the 5th/6th place.
The 18th Asian Men’s Junior (U-21) Handball Championship will run until July 27 in Amman, Jordan.
The championship serves as a qualifying event for the 25th IHF Men’s Junior (U-21) Handball World Championship in Poland, slated for June and July 2025.
The top four teams in the ongoing competition will secure qualification spots for the World Championship.
