Porto Forward Taremi Scores in His Farewell Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Porto forward Mehdi Taremi scored a winner in the match against Boavista Sunday night.
The Iranian striker bade farewell to the Portuguese side at Estádio do Dragão and scored a late goal for his team to seal a 2-1 win for the host.
Bruno Lourenço was on target for the visiting team on the hour mark and Jose Pedro equalized the match in the 81st minute.
Taremi scored the winner in the dying moments of the match.
Taremi joined Porto in 2020 and scored 64 goals in 121 matches for the team.
He has reached an agreement with Italian side Inter Milan.
