Iran Beaten by Germany at 2024 IWBF Men's Repechage
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Germany 70-39 at the 2024 International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) Men's Repechage on Monday.
The Iran national team had narrowly lost to France 63-62 in its first match and also been defeated against the Netherlands 61-53 in Pool A.
Team Melli defeated Canada 75-74.
The top four teams in the eight-country tournament qualified for the 2024 Paralympic Games and Iran missed the last chance to book its place in the Games.
The Games will be held in Paris from August 28 to September 8.
