Iran Beach Soccer Goalkeeper Behzadpour Named Player of Match
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran defeated Tahiti 5-3 to book a place in the 2024 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup quarterfinals and Team Melli goalkeeper Hamid Behzadpour was selected as the Player of the Match.
Behzadpour scored two goals in the match, held at the Dubai Design District Stadium.
Seyed Mirjalili, Teaonui Tehau (own goal) and Mohammad Mokhtari scored three goals as well.
Iran is scheduled to meet the UAE in the quarterfinals on Thursday.
