Friendly: Iran Beach Soccer Defeats Colombia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran beach soccer team edged past Colombia 3-2 in a friendly match on Friday.
Mohammad Masoumizadeh was on target twice and there was also a goal from Mohammad Ali Mokhtari.
The friendly match was held as part of preparation for the 2024 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup, which will be held in Dubai, the UAE, from February 15 to 25.
Team Melli is drawn in Group B along with Spain, Tahiti and Argentina.
Ali Naderi’s side will face Spain in its opening match on February 15.
