Another Eight Palestinians Killed by Israeli Soldiers in West Bank

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that eight people were killed by Israeli army fire in the West Bank on Thursday, bringing the total death toll in the occupied region to 171 since Oct. 7.

According to a ministry statement, a 51-year-old man was killed in the town of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem, and a 30-year-old man was killed in the town of Dura, south of Hebron.

Separately, the ministry reported that Israeli forces killed six Palestinians and injured six others in the West Bank refugee camp of Jenin.

According to witnesses, Israeli forces conducted military raids on the Jenin and al-Amari refugee camps.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said a medic was injured when Israeli forces targeted an ambulance in Jenin.

Tensions have been high in the West Bank since Oct. 7, when Israel launched a military offensive against Gaza.

According to Palestinian figures, the Israeli army has killed at least 171 Palestinians and arrested over 2,300 others in the occupied territory since then.

Since a major attack by the Palestinian resistance group Hamas a month ago, Israel has also launched a barrage of air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip, killing at least 10,569 Palestinians, including 4,324 children and 2,823 women.
