Iran Takes Bronze at 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team at Hangzhou
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran claimed a bronze medal on Saturday at the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
Iran’s Amir Joharikhou and Haniyeh Rostamiyan finished in third place, beating Pakistan 16-14 for the bronze medal while the Republic of Korea defeated Japan 16-8 for the other bronze.
China beat India 16-14 in the gold medal match.
A record high of nearly 12,500 athletes from 45 countries and territories compete across 40 sports in the 2022 Asian Games.
Iran has sent 289 male and female athletes to Hangzhou in 34 sports events.
