Iran Handball Handed Tough Group at Qualifiers for 2024 Olympics
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s handball team has been drawn in Group B along with Kuwait, Uzbekistan, Japan, Bahrain and Kazakhstan at the Asian qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Qatar was drawn along with Saudi Arabia, South Korea, the UAE, India and China in Group A.
Qatar will host the event from October 18-28. The draw ceremony took place at the Qatar Handball Association headquarters on Saturday.
The winner of the qualifiers will seal a spot for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, while the runner-up will go into a play-off.
