Some 826,000 tons of non-oil goods, valued at $1.4 billion, were exported from Tehran province last year, Mahmoud Sijani said to IRNA.
In this period, 537,000 tons of non-oil goods, valued at $11.16 billion, were imported into the country, indicating a 13 percent decline in value compared to the previous year’s corresponding period.
Iraq, Turkey, Pakistan, Germany and Afghanistan were Iran’s first to five export target markets in this period respectively, he added.
In addition, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), China, Turkey, Germany and Switzerland were Iran’s first to five import markets respectively, the director general stated.
