Iran’s Export of Minerals Exceeds $11 Billion in 11 Months
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s export of mining products and minerals in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 to February 22, 2023) surpassed $11 billion.
Iran exported 43,791,000 tons of various types of mining products and minerals, valued at $11.89 billion, during the 11-month period, showing a 4% rise and 5% decline in terms of volume and value, respectively, compared to last year’s corresponding period.
The maximum export volume in this period is related to steel products, valued at $5.193 billion, which has accounted for 46.8 percent of the country’s total exports.
In this period, $317 million of cement products hit the export target markets.
The data also show that 4,051,700 tons of various types of mining goods and minerals, valued at $4.474 billion, were imported into the country from March 21, 2022 to February 22, 2023.
