Iran’s Dehdar Snatches Silver at 2022 World Weightlifting C’ships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Reza Dehdar won a silver medal at the 2022 World Weightlifting Championships on Wednesday.
He won the silver in the men’s 102kg by lifting 177-213-390 in total.
The gold medal went to Qatari weightlifter Fares El-Bakh with 174-217-391.
Armenian Samvel Gasparyan seized the bronze with 175-214-389.
The 2022 World Weightlifting Championships is an ongoing weightlifting competition held in Bogotá, Colombia.
It was scheduled to be held in Chongqing, China but this changed in March 2022 as a result of COVID-19 measures in China.
It is the first time Colombia has hosted the World Weightlifting Championships.
