Iran to Play Mali in FIBA U-19 Basketball 9-16 Classification
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will play Mali on Friday in the 9–16th place quarterfinals at the 2021 FIBA U-19 Basketball World Cup.
The Iranian team lost to Lithuania 96-53 on Wednesday in the competition’s Round of 16.
Hubertas Pivorius bagged 17 points for Lithuania and Iran’s Ali Shahryari scored 13 points.
The tournament is being hosted in Riga and Daugavpils, Latvia from July 3 to 11.
