At least 4 Civilians Killed in US-Led Airstrikes in Syria's Deir Ez-Zor
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – At least 4 civilians have been killed in a US air force attack on the outskirts of al-Baghouz town in eastern Deir ez-Zor countryside, according to SANA news agency.
The US-led International Coalition have also targeted a residential area in al-Tayyanieh town in the countryside of al-Mayadeen city, east of Deir ez-Zor and killed 3 civilians on Saturday February 9.
The US and its allies have been bombing what they call Daesh (also known as ISIS or ISIL) positions inside Syria since September 2014 without any authorization from the Damascus government or a UN mandate.
The aerial assaults, however, have on many occasions resulted in civilian casualties and failed to fulfill their declared aim of countering terrorism.
