Senior Iranian MP, Hezbollah Chief Meet in Lebanon
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Chairman of the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi held a meeting with Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement Seyed Hassan Nasrallah in Lebanon.
The meeting took place as part of Boroujerdi’s visit to the region, which started on Wednesday after his visit to Damascus, the capital of Syria.
Speaking to reporters in Damascus upon his arrival, the Iranian lawmaker referred to the ongoing cooperation between Iran, Syria, Iraq, and Russia as a positive and successful step.
“We are witnessing the positive outcomes of this quadripartite cooperation in the fight against terrorism at regional level,” Boroujerdi said.
“Whoever boasts about fighting terrorism should have a positive stance towards this cooperation,” he added.
