Iran Water Polo Advances to 2025 Asian Aquatics Championships SFs

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s men’s water polo team defeated Thailand 21-6 on Thursday and advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 Asian Aquatics Championships.

Team Melli had previously defeated China (14-9), Hong Kong (22-10) and Uzbekistan (28-7) in Group A.

Iran will meet Japan on Friday.

The 11th Asian Aquatics Championships are being held from September 28 to October 10 in Ahmedabad, India.
