Iran Armed Forces at Higher Readiness: Senior Commander

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A senior commander said the Iranian Armed Forces have attained a higher level of readiness and achievements compared to the period before the recent 12-day Israeli-imposed war, stressing their full preparedness to safeguard national security and the Islamic Republic’s interests.

Commander of Iran’s Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters Major General Ali Abdollahi, in a message on the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the beginning of Islamic Unity Week, congratulated the Iranian nation and the Muslim Ummah.

He praised the unity demonstrated during the recent 12-day imposed war, stressing that the vigilance and cohesion of the Iranian nation --reminiscent of the eight-year Sacred Defense-- defeated the hostile objectives of the US and the Zionist regime while showcasing Iran’s national solidarity to the world.

Highlighting the Armed Forces’ role, the commander said that under the guidance of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, Iran’s military remains at full readiness to protect the nation, its security, and the achievements of the Islamic Revolution.

He stressed that the Armed Forces are “better prepared and equipped with greater achievements than before the recent imposed war.”

Major General Abdollahi also reassured the Iranian people that there is no reason for concern about the future, stressing that the enemy’s attempts to create unrest through psychological and media warfare come at a time when they themselves face deep challenges at home and abroad.
