Widespread Water Outage Hits Occupied Haifa Region

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli authorities, who claim to possess the region’s most advanced water technology, were forced to rely on tanker trucks after major water failures crippled parts of the occupied Haifa area.

Hebrew-language media reported a series of breakdowns at pumping stations and a rupture in a main pipeline, leaving several districts, including the town of Rekhasim, without water for days.

Unable to fix the disruption, the regime’s officials resorted to distributing water through mobile tankers in order to meet basic needs.

The news triggered backlash among settlers of the occupied territories, who noted that such failures have sharply increased in recent weeks and are disrupting their daily lives.

Water experts said the repeated breakdowns point to deep structural flaws in the regime’s water distribution system, a problem Israeli specialists have so far failed to resolve.
