Israeli Sports Websites Hacked in Pro-Palestinian Cyber Operation

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Several major Israeli sports websites were hacked overnight in a coordinated cyberattack that broadcast messages of support for Gaza and condemned Israel’s ongoing genocide.

Israeli media reported on Saturday that anti-Zionist hackers infiltrated multiple popular sports websites, including official pages of leading basketball teams and the Israeli Premier League.

According to Israel Hayom, the attacks began late Friday and continued into early Saturday, leaving websites defaced with strong visual and textual content condemning Israel’s criminal actions in Gaza.

The homepage of each targeted site was replaced with a message titled “Time is Running Out” displayed in multiple languages, including Hebrew, accompanied by an hourglass icon.

Beneath the headline, a message in Arabic read: "We send this message from the heart of Gaza, from the heart of the resistance which knows no surrender. From a place that has endured pain but insists on rising again. The massacres you commit will not go unanswered. Rest assured, there will be a response. The only answer to these crimes is resistance, the preservation of arms, and steadfastness to the end."

Among the hacked web sites was that of Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball club, one of the most followed teams in the Israeli regime.

Israel Hayom confirmed that as of Saturday morning, some of the websites went completely offline or were inaccessible to users, while others showed blank white pages. Several sites were still displaying the hackers’ message, with administrators unable to remove the content.

No group officially claimed responsibility for the operation. However, based on the nature and language of the message, it is widely believed to be the work of hackers affiliated with Palestinian resistance movements, who appear to have conducted a synchronized cyberattack targeting the regime’s sports media infrastructure.
