Iran, Belarus Discuss Expansion of Military Ties
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Senior commanders weighed plans at a meeting in Tehran to promote military cooperation between Iran and Belarus.
Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Belarus Vladimir Nikolaevich Kupriyanyuk met with Iranian Army Commander Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi in Tehran.
The two commanders stressed the need for closer interaction between the two nations.
They also explored avenues to enhance military and defense relations between Tehran and Minsk, strengthen cooperation in training programs, and exchange experiences.
In March, Defense Minister of Iran Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh traveled to Belarus to hold talks on the promotion of military cooperation between the two countries.
