The building of the mansion has been constructed in 1223 A.H. by Amanollah Khan Ardalan, the governor of Kurdistan.
The site of the mansion covers an area of 6,000 square meters. The adornments of the building include plasterwork, brickwork and elegant sash windows.
A very large pool in the middle of the building has added to the beauty of the complex.
The water is supplied by aqueducts of Mount Abidar. One of the attractions of Khosrowabad Mansion is a pool and fountain with flowing water on the third floor.
