MPs to Get Briefed on IAEA Chief’s Visit to Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Mohammad Eslami is going to inform the lawmakers about the results of a recent visit that Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Rafael Grossi paid to Iran.
Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf announced on Sunday that Eslami will attend a meeting of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy commission today to brief the lawmakers on Grossi’s recent trip to Tehran and his visits to two nuclear sites in Fordow and Natanz.
During his recent visit to Iran, the UN nuclear chief held separate meetings with President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, and Eslami on Thursday.
On Friday, Grossi paid visits to two uranium enrichment sites in Fordow and Natanz.
The UN nuclear chief had announced that his visits to Fordow and Natanz nuclear sites would be very significant, because it will help him form a complete concept of development of Iran’s nuclear program.
