Scenes broadcast live by the Iranian state TV on Tuesday morning showed Brigadier General Qaani in the airport at a ceremony held to receive the body of senior IRGC commander Brigadier General Abbas Nilforooshan, who was martyred along with the secretary general of Hezbollah in an Israeli airstrike in Lebanon on September 27.
The IRGC Quds Force commander’s appearance in full health came after media speculations about his martyrdom or injury in Lebanon.
The Israeli regime’s media outlets had given rise to rumors about the loss of the Iranian general.
