Iran’s Firouzpour Favorite to Win Gold in U-23 World Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Amir Hossein Firouzpour will be in Tirana, Albania for his third U-23 World Championships.
The Iranian freestyler won bronze in 2021 and gold in 2022. Firouzpour will be the favorite for the gold with Mustafagadzhi Malachdibirov (AIN) offering competition.
Malachdibirov won the gold medal at the U-20 World Championships this year.
The U-23 World Wrestling Championships 2024 will be held in Tirana, Albania from October 21 to 27.
The tournament will bring more than 600 wrestlers together.
