FM Congratulates IRGC General on Medal of Conquest
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi praised Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Aerospace Force Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh for receiving the 'Medal of Fath (Conquest)' from Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
In a message on Sunday, the top Iranian diplomat congratulated the IRGC Aerospace Force chief on being awarded the Medal of Fath.
“I sincerely congratulate you on receiving the ‘Fath Medal’, a symbol of the victorious operations of the warriors of Islam, bestowed upon you by the blessed hand of His Eminence Ayatollah Imam Khamenei, the Supreme Leader (may his eminence continue),” Araqchi said, the Foreign Ministry’s website reported.
“The brilliant and glorious ‘Operation True Promise II’, conducted against the military and security centers of the aggressive and occupying Zionist regime by the capable hand of the IRGC Aerospace Division under your command, is a shining chapter in the history of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran,” the minister added.
“I pray to the Almighty for your continued success in achieving the lofty goals of the sacred system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, under the special attention of His Eminence Imam al-Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance),” he stated.
The award was bestowed a few days after the IRGC’s massive missile strike against the Israeli targets inside the occupied territories.
On October 1, Iran responded to the Israeli assassination of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah Secretary General Seyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC general Abbas Nilforoushan by launching as many as 200 ballistic missiles toward the Zionist regime’s military and intelligence bases all over the occupied Palestinian territories.
