One Killed, Several Arrested As Israeli Forces Conduct Raids across West Bank
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli forces have conducted multiple raids across the occupied West Bank, leaving one Palestinian dead, several others wounded, and dozens arrested, according to Palestinian sources.
The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that a doctor was seriously wounded in the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, after being shot in the back by Israeli forces.
Israeli forces stormed the villages of Beit Furik and Salem, east of Nablus, as well as Asira ash-Shamaliya to the north of the city. According to the Palestinian Wafa news agency, five Palestinian men were arrested during the operations.
Additionally, nine Palestinians were detained at the Deheishe refugee camp, south of Bethlehem, after Israeli forces raided several neighborhoods and homes. More arrests were made in the Dheisheh and Nahalin refugee camps, west of Bethlehem, where Israeli forces detained 10 individuals following raids on their homes.
A young man was also arrested in the Ezbet al-Jarad suburb, east of Tulkarem city, while several others were detained at a military checkpoint at the southern entrance to the town of al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.
Israeli forces also raided Hebron (al-Khalil), arresting six residents, according to security sources cited by Wafa. One man was arrested in Idhna, west of Hebron.
In another incident, Israeli forces stormed the Fawwar refugee camp, engaging in clashes with Palestinian resistance groups. Live bullets were fired, resulting in four men being wounded. One of the injured men later died from a gunshot wound to the chest at Yatta Governmental Hospital, while the others sustained moderate and minor injuries to the foot, shoulder, and back.
