Israel’s military bombed Hamama School, which was sheltering displaced Palestinians, in Gaza City.
The Gaza civil defense agency reported that the school compound housed Palestinians who had been displaced from their homes multiple times since the Israeli genocidal war escalated in early October.
The Israeli military acknowledged the attack on the school, claiming it was a command and control center used by Hamas.
Hamas has not yet responded to the military's statement, but it has consistently denied using civilian facilities for military operations.
Earlier on Saturday, Israeli forces killed at least three Palestinians in an attack on a house in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Another attack near Khan Younis killed five Palestinians, including a child and three women, according to the Palestinian WAFA news agency.
Al Jazeera reported that two people were killed and one injured in an Israeli strike in the Zeitoun neighborhood of Gaza City.
According to the Gaza Health Ministry, at least 39,550 people have been killed across the enclave, with 70 deaths reported in the last 48 hours.
The ministry also reported that at least 91,280 people have been wounded in the past ten months.
