Three Palestinian Injured in Israeli Military Raid in West Bank
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli forces shot and injured three Palestinian men on Saturday during a military raid on the Balata refugee camp in the occupied West Bank, while clashes broke out in Jenin and other locations.
Three Palestinian men were shot and injured by Israeli forces during a military raid on the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.
The Wafa news agency quoted a Palestine Red Crescent Society spokesperson, stating that the three men suffered bullet and shrapnel wounds to the feet, chest, and head.
According to Wafa, Israeli soldiers stormed the camp to destroy a supermarket, leading to "heavy shooting" as local Palestinian youth resisted, prompting a large deployment of Israeli forces.
In a related development, the Israeli military stormed the occupied West Bank city of Jenin and the Jenin refugee camp, resulting in clashes with Palestinian groups, the Wafa news agency reported.
Israeli forces also stormed the town of Kafr Dan, west of Jenin, deploying snipers on rooftops, flying drones, and raiding several homes, which led to confrontations with Palestinian groups.
Elsewhere in the occupied West Bank, Israeli raids were reported in the Shuweika suburb north of Tulkarem, the Jaidi neighborhood of Qalqilya, and the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron (al-Khalil).
Local Palestinian media platforms shared videos on social media showing the continued presence of Israeli troops and military vehicles in the Balata refugee camp.
The videos depicted Israeli forces destroying and vandalizing residents' property, and bulldozing the camp's streets.
Other clips showed the devastation in the camp and rising smoke from explosive devices used by Israeli forces.
Earlier, Wafa reported that three Palestinians had been shot and injured by Israeli forces in Balata.
