Speaking at a meeting of Iran-UAE Joint Economic Commission, held in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday and attended by Iranian Roads Minister Mehrdad Bazrpash, Al Marri said a large number of competent Iranian companies are working in the UAE and his country extremely welcomes investment in Iran.

The meeting indicates that high-ranking officials are determined to expand relations between the two states in all areas, the Emirati minister underlined.

Al Marri noted that Iran is the UAE’s second biggest trader partner after China, saying the trade exchanges between the two countries increased by 17 percent last year, IRNA reported.
