Hezbollah Targets Israeli Military Positions in Northern Parts of Occupied Territories
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Fighters from the Lebanese Hezbollah resistance movement carried out a series of operations, aiming at various Israeli military positions in the northern part of the 1948 occupied territories.
The attacks involved different munitions, including combat drones laden with explosives.
Lebanon’s al-Mayadeen television news channel reported that the strikes hit a gathering of Israeli troops near the al-Dhairah military site on Thursday afternoon. A barrage of rockets precisely targeted the designated areas, resulting in casualties among the forces, according to the report.
Following these events, Hezbollah fighters executed a drone strike against the Ein Margaliot military base in response to Israeli crimes against civilians in southern Lebanon. Additionally, Hezbollah artillery units targeted a group of Israeli soldiers entering the al-Malikiyah post.
Moreover, the resistance fighters launched guided missiles, artillery shells, and rockets at an Israeli military convoy near the Ruwaisat al-Alam outpost on Kfar Shuba Hills, resulting in the destruction of two armored vehicles. The Israeli military deployed a smoke screen to facilitate the withdrawal of casualties.
The Israeli regime's attacks in southern Lebanon have escalated since October 7, coinciding with its genocidal military campaign in Gaza, which has claimed the lives of at least 34,305 Palestinians, predominantly women and children.
In response, Hezbollah has intensified its attacks on Israeli positions. The conflict has claimed the lives of at least 380 people on the Lebanese border, including 72 civilians.
Hezbollah's history of resistance against Israeli aggression includes successful defense against two previous wars in 2000 and 2006, forcing the Israeli regime to retreat in both instances.
