Arrests Made After Rask Terrorist Attack: Iran Police Chief
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A number of people have been arrested in connection with the terrorist attack on a Police station in southeastern Iran that killed 11 forces on December 15, the Police commander said.
Speaking to Tasnim on Tuesday, Commander of the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran Brigadier General Ahmadreza Radan said “successive blows” have been dealt to the so-called ‘Jaish al-Adl’ terrorist group after its attack resulted in the martyrdom of 11 Police forces in Rask in the southeastern province of Sistan and Balouchestan.
He noted that a number of terrorists have been arrested following the intelligence activities of Iran in various sectors, adding that the confessions made by the arrestees are being collected and will be made public in due time.
The Police commander noted that a number of other Jaish al-Adl terrorists have been killed since the attack on Iranian forces.
