Iran, Kazakhstan Ink MoU to Boost Veterinary Cooperation

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Officials from Iran and the Republic of Kazakhstan signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of veterinary medicine cooperation.

In a videoconference meeting held with Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan Imam Quli Bradley, Iran’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture Mojtaba Norouzi emphasized the removal of health and hygienic problems in the import of red meat from Kazakhstan and export of dairy products to this Central Asian country.

The Kazakh deputy minister of agriculture stressed the need to facilitate and expedite the export of dairy products to Kazakhstan, Mehr news agency reported. 

Given the willingness of the two parties and the significance of this cooperation between the two countries, the head of the Iran Veterinary Medicine Organization called for more cooperation in the field of veterinary medicine with a focus on the removal of the obstacles in line with booming the trade relations between Iran and Kazakhstan, especially in the field of the dairy products.
