Iran to Export Veterinary Medicine Services to Senegal
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – In the course of the 5th Iran-Senegal Joint Economic Commission, it was agreed that Iran would export training, technical and veterinary medicine services to the West African country.
The 5th Iran-Senegal Joint Economic Commission kicked off in the Senegalese capital of Dakar this week after a 12-year hiatus.
Iran’s minister of agriculture, head of the Iran Veterinary Medicine Organization, head of the Iranian Fisheries Organization and a number of senior managers and experts from the different ministries arrived in Dakar to discuss boosting bilateral ties in different fields.
A number of memoranda of understanding and cooperation documents were inked between the two sides in the fields of agriculture, roads, industry, technical and engineering services, customs culture, and healthcare and treatment services, Mehr news agency reported.
Head of the Iran Veterinary Medicine Organization Mojtaba Norouzi pointed to the amicable ties between Iran and Senegal and said the two countries enjoy cultural commonalities.
Based on the negotiations made, it was agreed that Iran would export technical, training, healthcare and laboratory services to Senegal’s Veterinary Medicine Organization, he stated.
