Gaza Civilians Given Six Hours to Leave As Israel Launches Ground Assault

The regime's military first urged civilians to flee to the south of the Gaza Strip yesterday as preparations for a ground incursion intensified. According to the Palestinian health ministry, geolocated videos, and footage from hospitals in the aftermath, the Israeli military later bombed a road being used by evacuees, resulting in at least 70 deaths and over 200 injuries.

Hospitals in the densely populated northern area of the Gaza Strip have expressed their inability to evacuate, and some civilians have stated they have no alternative places to go.

Hospitals in the region have cautioned that critically ill patients cannot be moved. "It's really a new Nakba here and even it's worse than the first one," said Yusuf Abu Rish, the head of Shifa hospital in northern Gaza. "For the evacuation of Shifa, it is something impossible. No one can evacuate Shifa hospital... Most of the cases are unstable, and if we want to transfer them, even if there are extra beds, in other hospitals, which is not true, they (patients) will die because they are unable to be transported."

Israeli airstrikes have caused at least 256 fatalities, including 20 children, and wounded 1,788 others in less than 24 hours, as reported by hospitals in Gaza.

A correspondent from the Palestinian WAFA news agency stated that Israeli forces targeted Gaza City's Tal al-Hawa neighborhood and the Red Crescent's al-Quds Hospital, where hundreds of families had sought refuge from Israeli bombing. The bombardment also resulted in the destruction of numerous homes and residential buildings throughout the Strip, according to WAFA.

In Gaza, the latest figures from the Palestinian Health Ministry indicate that at least 1,900 Palestinians, including 614 children and 370 women, have been killed over the past week.

On Friday, Israeli forces dispatched tanks and foot soldiers into Gaza to conduct what they termed "localized raids" in anticipation of a potential invasion of the Palestinian enclave. This operation aimed to locate individuals allegedly held by Palestinian resistance forces.

Israeli forces carried out multiple raids into Gaza as part of their effort to "locate missing people," as revealed on the Israeli military's social media account. The Israeli military asserted, "Infantry and armored forces searched and gathered in the area for findings that may help in the effort to locate the missing and thwarted terrorist infrastructure and terrorist cells found in the area."
