Speaking in a conference on Iran Export Capabilities, Mehdi Zeyghami added, “Given the interest of foreign companies to attend the exhibition, the determination of an exact date for this prestigious event can help promote export and export activities.”

Turning to the organization of four editions of the Iran EXPO exhibition, the official stated that organizing this event next year (to start March 21, 2023) has been taken into consideration due to the significance of export of non-oil commodities.

Efforts will be made to turn the exhibition into a national program in line with spurring export groups, he said, calling on entrepreneurs and industrialists to strongly take part in the exhibition.

Expert-level meetings were held with the participation of foreign companies in recent months and foreign traders showed their willingness to take part in the exhibition.

Giant steps can be taken in line with promoting the export of non-oil goods using the extensive target markets, promoting exports with added value and also knowledge-based products, he added.
