Iran’s Ambassador to Doha Hamid Dehqan said in a post on his Twitter account that he has submitted the message from President Rouhani to the Qatari Foreign Ministry officials.
The message has been delivered in response to a letter that the emir of Qatar sent to the Iranian president in February.
Qatari Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani had passed on the written message in a visit to Tehran.
In the letter, the Qatari leader had described Iran as a powerful and influential country in the region, stressing the need for cooperation and consultations among the Persian Gulf countries to settle the problems.
