IRGC Quds Force Expediting Expiry of Arrogance: General
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps praised the IRGC Quds Force for pushing the world arrogance closer to its downfall.
Major General Hossein Salami sent a message to Commander of the Quds Force Brigadier General Esmaeil Qaani on Sunday to praise his resourcefulness on the first anniversary of his appointment after the martyrdom of Lt. General Qassem Soleimani.
In the letter, General Salami said the “combatants without borders” serving at the IRGC Quds Force will push the arrogance closer to its expiry by God’s grace.
He stressed that the blood of popular commander Lt. General Soleimani would guarantee the global arrogance’s downfall and the liberation of the oppressed across the globe.
The IRGC chief also said that the Quds Force has reached a new level of battle against the hegemony and its cohorts under the command of General Qaani.
General Soleimani, Iraqi commander Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, and several of their companions were assassinated in a US airstrike authorized by US President Donald Trump near Baghdad International Airport on January 3, 2020.
Both General Soleimani and al-Muhandis played a key role in defeating the Takfiri Daesh terrorist group which at its peak, threatened a complete take-over of Iraq and Syria.
Iraqi lawmakers unanimously approved a bill on January 5, demanding the withdrawal of all foreign military forces led by the United States from the country following the assassination of the two anti-terror commanders.
