Iran, Kazakhstan FMs Discuss Coronavirus Battle
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The foreign ministers of Iran and Kazakhstan weighed plans for concerted action in the fight against the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Kazakh counterpart Mukhtar Tleuberdi held a telephone conversation on Wednesday.
In their talks, the two senior diplomats called for the expansion of collaboration between Tehran and Nur-Sultan in the battle with COVID-19.
Iran has already expressed readiness to share its experiences in coping with the contagious disease with neighboring states.
Nearly 30,000 coronavirus patients have recovered from the disease in Iran and have been discharged from the hospital.
