TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Syria’s army continued to attack positions of al-Nusra terrorists in Hama’s northern countryside.

World

Syrian army forces carried out a new attack on the key hilltop of Tal Malah on Friday afternoon, striking the militants’ defenses from the eastern part of the Mhardeh-Sqaylabiyeh Road and al-Jabin region using heavy missile fire.

The offensive in northern Hama was in response to terrorists’ repeated attacks on villages and towns in the region.

SANA reported that the army also targeted the positions of al-Nusra Front terrorists in the towns of Latmeen, Kafr Zita, and Arba’een in the northern countryside of the Hama province using heavily shelling.

On the direction of al-Latamina town towards the villages of al-Zakat, Hasraya, and Abu Raeida in Hama northern countryside, the government forces also conducted artillery strikes and a barrage of missiles on al-Nusra terrorists’ supply routes, killing a number of militants.
