Syrian army units carried out attacks against militants’ positions near Al-Mileh hilltops and town of Wadi Othman in Hama northern countryside after they tried to sneak into a buffer zone in the province, SANA reported.
The report added that the army responded after the terrorist groups fired rocket shells toward the towns of Karnaz, al-Hamamyat, al-Sheikh Hadid, Kafr Houd, al-Jdeida and al-Jalma in Hama northern countryside.
Under a deal reached following a meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in September, all militants should have withdrawn from the demilitarization zone by October 15.
However, al-Qaeda-linked Takfiri terrorists said they refuse to either leave the buffer zone or hand over their weapons.
