3 Syrian Soldiers Killed in Israeli Air Attack in Southern Damascus (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - The Syrian air defense systems have been activated and confronted an Israeli air attack that targeted southwestern Damascus and Quneitra, a Syrian military source said.

Three soldiers were killed and seven others injured in the attack, according to SANA.

The source added that at 03:22 on Sunday, some hostile aerial targets appeared from the direction of the occupied Golan, which was immediately confronted with the air defense system.

The Syrian air defense system downed the hostile missiles that were targeting army positions in the southwestern Damascus.

Following the initial raid, several more rockets were fired towards the eastern Quneitra countryside from the direction of Israel, killing at least three Syrian soldiers and injuring seven other servicemen, the military source told Sana.

“At 04:10 at dawn, the Zionist enemy renewed its aggression by firing several missiles on the eastern countryside of Quneitra. The aggression resulted in the martyrdom of three soldiers and the injury of seven others in addition to some material losses,” the source said, adding that the hostile targets which were heading towards Quneitra were also iintercepted.
